App Name: Meet Us – LGBTQ+ Dating & Fun
1. Purpose
Meet Us is a privacy-focused LGBTQ social and connection platform for adults.
These Community Guidelines explain how to behave respectfully and safely while using Meet Us.
These guidelines apply to all app areas, including:
- profiles
- discovery
- requests and approvals
- private chat
- city/parade/community participation
- favourite/pin profiles
- reporting and blocking
- external links shared in supported chat areas
2. Age Requirement
Meet Us is an 18+ app.
Only adults may use the app.
You must not create or use an account if you are under 18.
If an underage account is found or reported, it may be removed.
3. Be Respectful
Treat other members with kindness and respect.
Do not:
- insult, bully, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone
- use hateful or abusive language
- target someone because of their gender identity or identity
- repeatedly contact someone after they ask you to stop
- pressure someone, shame them, or make them feel unsafe
4. No Hate or Discrimination
Meet Us is a respectful LGBTQ community space.
Do not post, send, or say anything that promotes:
- hate speech
- discrimination
- violence
- humiliation
- demeaning stereotypes
5. No Harassment, Abuse, or Coercion
Do not use Meet Us to harm, control, scare, or pressure another person.
This includes:
- harassment
- stalking
- blackmail
- extortion
- threats
- doxxing
- coercion
- repeated unwanted contact
6. No Child Sexual Abuse, Exploitation, or Grooming
Meet Us has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, or any CSAE-related behavior.
You must never:
- contact or target minors
- attempt grooming or exploitation
- share sexual content involving minors
- request or share any CSAE-related content
Violating accounts may be removed, suspended, banned, and reported where required.
7. Be Honest About Who You Are
Use your account honestly.
Do not:
- impersonate another person
- pretend to be someone you are not
- use fake profile details to mislead others
- misuse your avatar or profile identity to deceive people
8. Respect Profiles and Identity Information
Meet Us uses profile details such as display name, email address, gender identity, avatar selection, date of birth, interests, parade participation, and premium status.
Do not misuse profile fields to:
- deceive others
- impersonate someone else
- misrepresent your identity
- create false trust or false safety
9. Chat Rules
Meet Us supports private chat and message history.
Do not use chat to:
- harass or threaten others
- send spam or repeated unwanted messages
- send scams or fraudulent offers
- pressure people into unsafe actions
- share content that violates these guidelines
Users may edit sent messages and react to messages, but these features must not be used to deceive or harm others.
10. Links and External Sharing
Meet Us allows external HTTP/HTTPS links in supported Vibe Chat areas.
When sharing links:
- share only links you are allowed to share
- do not use links for scams, fraud, or abuse
- do not send misleading or harmful links
- do not use links to pressure people into unsafe or unwanted contact
In Private Chat, links are shown as plain text and are not transformed into clickable links.
Some external social links may be restricted or disabled for safety in certain flows.
11. City, Parade, and Community Participation
Meet Us lets members manually join city/parade/community spaces.
When participating:
- be respectful in community spaces
- do not disrupt, insult, or harass others
- do not misuse city/parade participation to target people
- respect the privacy and comfort of others
12. Reporting and Blocking
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block or report them.
Do not misuse reporting or blocking features to:
- harass another user
- submit false reports on purpose
- abuse the moderation system
Reports should be used for real safety or policy concerns.
13. Moderation and Enforcement
Meet Us reviews reports and may take action when rules are broken.
Possible actions include:
- warning
- restricting visibility
- suspension
- ban
Severe or repeated violations may lead to stronger action.
14. Privacy Respect
Do not use Meet Us to collect, expose, or misuse another person’s private information.
Do not:
- share someone’s private details without permission
- publish private conversations outside the app without consent
- misuse account details, chat content, or report information
- pressure others to reveal private information
15. Final Rule
Be respectful.
Be honest.
Be safe.
Protect other members.
